ESP Hopper Heater Construction Option

• Tubular Hopper Heater Element The suspended particulate matter (SPM) from the Flue Gas Strem passing through the ESP's are collected in the hoppers below. These are then removed from the ESP and carried by Conveyors of various designs. However, choking and accumulation of this dust sometimes happens in the hoppers due to the presence of moisture and low temperature in the hoppers. This adversely affects the performance of an ESP. As such, hopper heaters are installed in the hopper walls which helps in maintaining the temperature in the hoppers, thereby avoiding any choking or acumulation.
• Insulator Heaters: The successful performance of an ESP is depending on many factory including the temperature inside the ESP. Air Ingress takes place in the ESP's through the openings of the Insulators. Heaters are installed here to heat the entering air thereby maintaining the temperature within the ESP.
• Voltage and Wattage - However, volts, watts, and watt density can be modified to suit application requirements. Sheath Material - Steel, 304SS and Incoloy 840 are standard materials, but others such as Incoloy 800, 316SS, 321SS, etc. are available as well. Riser - Standard design heaters use a junction box and riser pipe assembly.
• This can be varied to suit application needs. Also, depending on configuration, the riser assembly can be eliminated and the heater elements (with a long cold riser section) terminated in the enclosure or in a mounting flange.

SAWHEAT  ACID Bath Heaters

Acid Bath heaters of the SAWHEAT range is a complete electric program for heating of tubs and tanks within the ACIDIC  industry, deacidification and degrease system.

Bath heaters are available with sheath of different materials e.g. porcelain, titanium, PTFE coated steel, stainless steel and Quartz glass.
The heating element is made as an exchangeable ceramic insert with wires of nickel/chrome

Below is a list of standard items  other lengths,

cold zones, voltage and wattages can be supplied.

The PVC cap with cable entry is IP55 and the standard cable length is 2 meter of 3 x 1.5 mm or 4 x 1.5 mm.

The cap must not be exposed to operating temperature over 70C.   

Construction

To achieve the longest lifetime and best service of the bath heater. It is important to choose the best sheath material based on the chemicals to be used in the tubs.

 If it is possible to state the type of chemicals and additives, our technical department can assist in choosing the correct sheath material.

 

However, chemical reactions and other conditions in the tubs can vary and thus create unforeseen factors which may influence the lifetime of the bath heater.

 

Very aggressive mediums may require PTFE coating to provide a long life and proper service function.
